Key approaches undertaken by China’s leadership to enhancing the competitiveness of Chinese enterprises and to stimulating their innovative development under WTO conditions are analyzed. A number of conclusions are made based on the results of the analysis. Some important issues were pointed out, that relate to interaction with the economic environment and are significant for protection of interests of Russian enterprises under WTO conditions.
