In this article was reviewed by the detection algorithm for surface ships in the images obtained with opto-electronic channel.
The contours of the ship in the image stand out by finding the first derivative of the brightness of the source image by Sobel method. It is also proposed algorithms for processed image filtering and detection of the object based on its semantic description.
Experimental means were determined the precision characteristics of the algorithm, the conclusion about the possibility of using this method in machine vision systems of unmanned aerial vehicles was done.
