The article studies methodological and organizational aspects related to educational process of specialists for defense industry. It points out an important role of integration of educational, scientific, design and technological components into new education programs. The article describes examples when the educational process and research projects are performed in close collaboration with defense industry enterprise and Ministry of Defense organizations. The issue defines the defense specialities role in developing the defense industry and in ensuring the national security.
