The described setup is presented for the study of the adiabatic expansion of gases by measuring the pressure and temperature of the gas before and immediately after expansion of the gas. A resistance thermometer with a small relaxation time is described. The results of measuring the adiabatic curve for moist air and adiabata constant are presented.
