V.R. Romanovskii (b. 1952) graduated from the Bauman Moscow Higher Technical School in 1975 and the Lomonosov Moscow State University in 1980. D. Sci. (Phys.-Math.), professor of "Refrigerating and Cryogenic Technology, Systems of Air Conditioning and Life Support" department of the Bauman Moscow State Technical University. Full member of the New-York Academy of Sciences, member of American Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers. Winner of I.V. Kurchatov Prizes. Author of more than 120 publications in the field of mathematical physics, mathematical simulation of heat exchange processes in power generating plants, electrodynamics of nonlinear media, technical superconductivity. Co-author of three monographs in technical superconductivity.
