S.B. Nesterov (b. 1957) graduated from the Moscow Power Engineering Institute in 1980. D. Sc. (Eng.), professor, deputy director for science of the Vekshinskiy State Research Institute of Vacuum Technology. Deputy Chairman of the Council of the Russian Scientific-Technical Vacuum Society. Organizer and coordinator of the annual International Specialized Exhibition and conference "Vacuum Equipment, Materials and Technology". A member of the International Academy of Refrigeration, a member of the Russian Academy of Natural Sciences. Author of more than 300 publications in the fields of vacuum and cryogenic technology.
