Korenkov V.V.

Korenkov V.V., Cand. Sci. (Eng.), director of the SMC "Special engineering" at Bauman Moscow State Technical University. He is a renowned scientist and designer in the field of weapons of mass application for the Air Force, Army, Navy. His scientific activity is related to research of combustion and explosion, throwing bodies by detonation products, application of numerical methods of continuum mechanics to the calculation of the operation of ammunition items. Author of more than 120 works and 25 inventions. He is Lenin Komsomol Prize winner in the field of science and technology (1984), the RF Government Prize in Science and Technology (2005) and S.I. Mosin Award (2008).
