V.V. Alekseev (b. 1949) graduated from the Tomsk Polytechnic Institute in 1972. Ph. D. (Eng.), corresponding member of the RARAN. Deputy Director General of OAO "GosNIImashinostroeniya". Author of more than 100 publications and inventions in the field of physics of explosion, shock waves and explosive projection.
