The article reviews the history of formation and development, technical characteristics and experimental capabilities of the Multi-Purpose Ballistic Laboratory (test site) which belongs to Rocket & Pulse Systems Department (CM-6) and is located in the Dmitrov Branch of Bauman Moscow State Technical University. The main scientific results obtained by the laboratory are described. Areas offurther development for this unique experimental complex are specified.
