Aleksandrov A.A., Dr. Sci. (Engineering), professor. President of the Bauman Moscow State Technical University. Head of the Ecology and industrial safety Department at BMSTU. Under the leadership of A.A. Aleksandrov, the Erest complex was created, which is widely used in Moscow and large cities for capturing liquid hydrocarbon fuel evaporating during storage at oil depots and gas stations by reverse condensation methods. For the creation of a cooling system for a complex for diagnosing chimneys of industrial enterprises, he was awarded the Prize of the Government of the Russian Federation in the field of science and technology (2001). Since April 2010 he was Rector of the Bauman Moscow State Technical University. On April 9, 2015, he was elected rector of the Bauman University for the second term. On October 7, 2021, by the decision of the Academic Council, Anatoly Alexandrov was elected President of the Bauman Moscow State Technical University. The scope of his scientific interests is the area of evaluating the residual life of technical structures, fracture mechanics, resource and environmental conservation during storage and transportation of liquid hydrocarbon fuel using cryogenic technology. A. Alexandrov is author of more than 80 scientific papers in the field of resource and environmental conservation during storage and transportation of liquid hydrocarbon fuel using cryogenic technology, risk theory, fracture mechanics, industrial safety and operation of hazardous production facilities.
