Kuvyrkin Georgiy N.

Georgiy N. Kuvyrkin graduated from Bauman Moscow Higher Technical School. He is head of the Department of Applied Mathematics at the Bauman Moscow State Technical University. He is a well-known expert in the field of thermomechanics of a deformable solid and the thermal strength of structural elements. He obtained original results in the field of thermomechanics of a continuous medium with internal parameters of a state, proposed defining equations for describing thermomechanical processes in composite materials, methods for estimating the thermoelastic properties of an inhomogeneous continuous medium, and variants of the theory of inelastic deformation of composite materials based on carbon. He also developed methods and algorithms for the numerical solution of non-stationary problems of thermomechanics and calculation of the thermally stressed state of structural elements. Author of more than 250 scientific papers, three textbooks and four monographs. G.N. Kuvyrkin is a member of the Russian National Committee for Theoretical and Applied Mechanics, member of the Scientific Council of the Russian Academy of Sciences on the thermal regimes of machines and apparatus.
